the folks working were kind, and check in was very easy. the room felt pretty clean, and i felt safe. i even left my ipad and came back to them holding it safely for me.

The Inn was perfect. The rooms were spotless. They are simple but clean. In an excellent location with plenty to do close by. Tours, Food and history all around. Fridge and microwave in each room as well as coffee. For the price It's a no brainer.

Nice newly renovated rooms (as of fall 2022), comfortable beds, clean. Great value. Accommodating, hospitable, staff. I am a picky sleeper and this room checked most of my boxes. It had a an AC unit capable of consistent noise. Was not loud. The curtains could have worked a little better to keep the light out, it was hard to adjust them to not have a crack of light peeking through the middle. Would stay again

Not only is Old Bardstown Inn a great value, it is located in Bardstown - our favorite home-base for Bourbon Trail tours, and an easy walk to the historical downtown district. The room was clean, smelled great and had a recent refresh with updated flooring and furnishings. I had read one unfavorable review as to bedspread, pillows and lack of blankets. There were two blankets in the bureau drawers, and the pillows were perfectly fine, but I was happy to have my blanket from home. As always, I brought my own soap and hair products. My complaint would be that the toilet was quite low to the floor. The continental breakfast was a good start every morning. The pool sparkled, the chairs were inviting, and many enjoyed themselves. Management, or owners, were friendly and a hard-working couple.

Updated Review: We find ourselves drawn back to Bardstown, and as always, our stay at the Old Bardstown Inn was a pleasant one. Having stayed here before, we knew what to expect – clean, comfortable rooms and friendly service. Last time, we noted the absence of a blanket between the coverlet and sheet, a minor inconvenience. This time, we came prepared with our own, but were pleasantly surprised to find extra blankets already provided in the room! Whether this was a direct response to feedback or simply something we overlooked previously, it was a welcome addition. The cleanliness of the rooms remains exceptional. They are meticulously maintained and very well-stocked with essentials. The staff continues to be a highlight, consistently demonstrating kindness and helpfulness. The swimming pool is a wonderful amenity, particularly during warmer months. While the weather didn't cooperate for a swim this time, we fondly remember the pool from past visits – always clean and never overcrowded. It's important to remember that the Old Bardstown Inn is a budget hotel. We don't anticipate luxurious amenities or high-end services. However, for the price, the value is outstanding. The cleanliness and overall quality far exceed what one might expect from a budget accommodation. We appreciate the consistency and reliability of the Old Bardstown Inn. We look forward to our next visit, hopefully when we can enjoy the pool again. Thank you for another wonderful stay!

It was such a nice stay! Great price and very nice customer service. The rooms were clean and smell free. Just so everyone knows- there are blankets in the room. Ours were located in the drawers under the t.v. The shower was very good and clean. Beds were great. Outside noise was muffled and overall quiet. My mom and I had a very pleasant stay and will return again if we stay in Bardstown. Thank you!

The hotel Manger was very nice & professional. The price with tax was $88 dollars was a 5 minute drive to town. Also a great location centrally located 15 minutes away from Willet, Bardstown and/or Heaven Hill. Rooms are very clean.

This was my 2nd choice for a one night stay. I left the first because the TV was unmanageable for a non-tech boomer. I only wanted to watch the baseball or football and the Motor Lodge system was not meeting my needs. So, I went to OBI. Same price, very friendly receptionist. Showed me my room first and let me mess with the remote. Very comfortable, clean, quiet and great access to town, both old and new. Close to 3 distilleries. Level parking lot close to rooms. Everything I needed. I recommend.

Rooms were clean, people were nice and helpful a beautiful area. My old kentucky home is across the street. Mcdonalds is in walking distance. Small convenient store close by pool wasn't opened yet but looks good I would stay again.
